A Closing of the Bones ceremony is truly an "innate tradition" of postpartum women all around the world. This ceremony, or tradition, comes from our physiologic design + needs as a woman.
During pregnancy + birth, women quite literally expand physiologically, emotionally, energetically + spiritually during these potent portals.
A Closing of the Bones serves to help integrate the rite-of-passage of pregnancy + birth by giving sacred witness and honor to the mother's journey of transformation, while also helping to "close up" the mother and return her to her body after her expanded state.

The ceremony can be done with just the mother or surrounded by loving family + friends. You get to decide how you'd like to honor this rite-of-passage.
